COMO: THE TOWN, THE LAKEFRONT AND THE FUNICULAR

Walking tour inside the Middle-Age walls, ancient heart of the town, throughout beautiful squares, Romanesque churches, alleys, ‘till the white cathedral and the old town hall, then we’ll reach the lakefront where we can see the Voltiano Temple and the Rationalist district. Let’s finish with an exciting tour on the funicular railway and, from the top of the mountain you can take wonderful panoramic pictures of the lake and the town.

SMALL CRUISE AND OLD TOWN:

By public or private boat for 40 minutes coasting the beautiful villas and their botanical gardens placed in the first basin of Como Lake, included George Clooney’s villa. Then guided tour in the old town of Como. (3/4 hours)

CRUISE AND VILLA CARLOTTA

By public or private boat along the western branch of the lake ‘till the famous Villa Carlotta where I can show you the wonderful botanical garden with hundreds species of plants from all over the world. We’ll finish the guided tour inside the villa in which I can explain the important artworks made by Antonio Canova, Francesco Hayez and other famous artists. (6/7 hours)

THE CENTER OF THE LAKE, BELLAGIO AND VILLA MELZI

By public or private boat to admire the most famous and beautiful hamlets of Como Lake included the wonderful Varenna. Stop in Bellagio and walking tour through the typical mule tracks, silk stores and the panoramic point from which you can take pictures of the 3 branches of the lake and the big Alps. We can finish the tour with the guided tour inside the botanical garden of Villa Melzi. (6/7 hours)
